Mother of God NOW OPEN for Mass: Owing to social distancing guidelines, there is now reduced seating in Church. During the pandemic the Sunday obligation can be fulfilled during weekdays as well. I strongly urge those who are retired to come during the week leaving Sundays for working people and families.
On entry, please sanitize your hands; the stewards will show you where to sit.
This will call for a lot of patience, understanding and co-operation. Please follow the directives from the stewards, thank you.
Out of love for our sisters and brothers overseas, sign our petition asking the Prime Minister to ensure that the most vulnerable people are the priority in the UK’s international efforts as well as at home.
St Wilfrid’s Centre is giving out food parcels to the many people who are struggling to cope during this difficult time.
It is running short of tinned meats, fish, potatoes, soups and dried pasta. You can drop them off at the Centre (524 Queens Road) Monday to Friday between 1pm and 3pm, Just ring the bell and leave them on the doorstep.
We give food parcels to people who knock on the door and who are referred from agencies throughout Sheffield.
Please give generously. Thank you.
